Chinese and Singaporean culture intertwine in many areas, such as the celebration of the Chinese new year. To this effect, in-game celebrations are bound for Metin2 SG. A number of events will occur, taking place from Monday January 23rd up until the 30th.

The first is rather easy & simple, players can go see the Old Lady to get a Lai See red packet, which can contain various goodies.

During the week, players may also find Firecrackers dropping from monsters. Aside from the spectacle seen when they are used, a player who uses one receives a very high chance to stun enemies for a while.


Players can also take part in cake baking during the event, with the ingredients dropping from monsters. When baked, the cakes give various bonuses. Talk to Octavio if you are interested.

Finally, there will be a 25% EXP bonus applied throughout the week. Happy Chinese new year!

It's funny how the owners of the pservers that got closed automatically troll every SG news pretending they are different people.

I can't wait to play at a pserver and feel what a rollback is like. Or the server vanishing completely. That's a thrilling experience and not that boring SG that at most has its forum down for a few hours.
