As the countdown is getting nearer for the dynamic launch of Metin2 SG, I would like to remind every gamer on few points to take note.
Community
In every MMORPG, a good community is very important. More than often, we failed to understand that we are not playing the game alone. I am speaking to the majority of the experience gamers. As many of you may know that gamers in South-east Asia are pretty new and inexperience to the game. Hence, I urge for everyone to be friendly and helpful.
Building a heroic reputation in the game is an honorable act. To emphasize on it, TEC Interactive have engaged professional graphic artist to design a MetinWorld comic which shall be published on monthly basis. From amongst the community, we shall keep an open-eye for reputable characters to be nominated for a role in the comic. Your great name will remain a legend in the history of Metin2.
Leisure
To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprise to see some of the hardcore gamers reaching level 80 in less than 3 months. In my honest opinion, I would not encourage such practices. Doing so would only shorten your lifespan in the game. The environment setting for the game is for everyone to build a platform based on teamwork.
Level 99 is the maximum level. When a player reached level 99, there are many quests which allow them to increase their HP, AP and AC permanently. In order to survive in Dragon Lair, New Dragon Valley and New Ice Mountain, a player needs such additional attributes. (Honestly, would you still be interested with leveling when you reached the maximum level knowing that it is a pain to level further as it may take a year or more just to reach another level)
The final battle in Metin2 is not 1 VS 1 combat. The whole ideal of the game is for you to work as a team. You can contribute as a Guild Leader (if you have the charisma) or be a member in the guild to fight shoulder to shoulder with your friends against the enemies. 3 kingdoms are at war! Enter the arena to uphold a victorious feat for your kingdom. Earn the reputation for your kingdom and defend your castle. (We have a “Siege†event which is related to defending your kingdom)
To encourage the formation of teamwork and unity, TEC Interactive is proud to organize bi-monthly Guild War tournament. Trophies (crafted in the shape of your character class) and medals are rewarded to the gamers. Each trophy and medal resembles a story of your undying passion to be a legend in Metin2.
Updates & Management
By now, most of you know that several new quests are added to the game. Some of the new weapons, armours and accessories have also been highlighted. In every MMORPGs, new patches/updates are equally important. Most significant is the community and customer service management.
As mentioned previously, I started as a gamer and I know what you want. There won’t be a situation where gamers need to camp the forum begging for updates. Irregardless of a maller or non-maller, you are our greatest asset and it is our duty to provide you an implausible and bizarre gaming experience with TEC Interactive. Hence, our decision to adopt a 24 hours and 7 days customer service, where you can find GMs, SGMs and GA in the game and forum.
Hackers, Bug-exploiters, Rudeness
In any game, hackers, bug exploiters and rudeness cannot be tolerated. With sufficient GMs and SGMs on the ground, they can be anywhere watching you! In addition, we are working with a college where their interns will disguise as ordinary player to detect the fraudulent players. As part of the internship programme, they will write a report to TEC Interactive on their findings and we shall not hesitate to block the perpetrator from the game to protect the community.
In closing, I appeal to everyone that you play the game in a fair manner. Live a good in-game reputation and be a valued customer to TEC Interactive Pte Ltd.
