One thing that our Google Analytics statistics shows us is that many people like Liquiron's news items. 10,000 of you in fact, over the past month. The statistics also show a quite frequent activity, which could basically be described as "checking". Coming to Liquiron's index page and seeing if there is any fresh news. We would like a way to let you know instantly when something new is posted. Originally this has been done via our
twitter account, though only around 3% of visits come from twitter.
Now we are offering another, more direct method, with Windows Live Alerts.
Using Alerts is very simple. If you are using Windows Live Messenger (also known as MSN Messenger), Hotmail email, or have Windows Live services on your phone, you are already setup to receive them. All you have to do is
signup with this link and choose how you would like to receive them. Then you're done!
Once you are setup to receive them, whenever a new item is published, you will receive a notification. In Windows Live Messenger, they look like messages or email notifications, like this:
The alert will take you straight to the news story. There is also a link in the main site's sidebar to signup.
